Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush is an American boy group that is specialized in pop music. The band was founded in 2009. The group is composed of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow as well as Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. In 2009, they signed with Nick Records before moving to Columbia Records. The group starred in the television series on Nickelodeon with the identical title, Big Time Rush. The show aired from November 28th, 2009 to July 25 2013. The pilot episode featured the group's first single for promotion, "Big Time Rush". The group has released three studio albums: BTR in 2010, Elevate in 2011 and 24/Seven in 2013. The band in 2014 took a break that would last until 2021. They returned to live performances in the studio, and then released "Call It Like It Sees It". Nickelodeon signed Big Time Rush a record agreement in 2009, while also airing the tv show Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon joined forces with Columbia/Epic Label Group in order to develop the show and provide new music. Their debut single, "Big Time Rush" appeared on the series on the 29th of November, 2009. The announcement was made by Nickelodeon, the series was first broadcast in the U.S. in November 2009 and then made available worldwide. It debuted during a preview of the show. It's currently the show's theme. The show also saw release of promotional singles such as "City is Ours" and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also performed the Play song "Famous" that was written by him. The track was released on iTunes on June 29 2010. The song's second, "Halfway There", was released to iTunes after it's premiere on the show. It soon became their first hit song to be charted on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 93 due to sales on digital. On September 21 on the 21st of September in 2010, Big Time Rush released second single "Till I Forget About You", to promote the release of their debut album. The album, called BTR It was released on October 11 in the 11th of October, 2010. The album climbed to number 3 on the Billboard 200 and sold 67,000 copies in its first week.
